Cancelation & Deposit Policies

At House of Black, we value our clients and our artists’ time. To keep things fair and professional for everyone, we have a clear no-refund policy on deposits and cancellations.

When you book an appointment, your artist reserves that time just for you. They often spend hours before the session preparing — from messaging and quoting to designing artwork and setting up the studio. If you cancel, that time and effort is lost, and someone else misses the chance to take your spot.

Your deposit covers more than just holding the time. It reflects the work already done behind the scenes to make your tattoo experience seamless. For that reason, deposits are non-refundable, no exceptions.

In some cases, your deposit may be transferred to a future appointment at the studio’s discretion. But refunds are not offered.
